The trainera is the largest one of the three types fixed seat boats .It is crewed by thirteen (13) rowers who are set in pairs with one rower rowing alone on the bow, while the coxswain steers the course of the boat on the stern, which makes fourteen (14) crew members.
The materials which have been used to make this boat have been set in sandwich layers and are: polyester, carbon fibre, mixed carbon-kevlar, epoxy resin, honeycomb, etc. The wooden ribs have been reinforced with fibre.
The seats are made of reinforced aluminium and they are adjustable as well as the oarlocks.
